Workmanship Guarantee
Van Fit Solutions (Castello Interiors Limited)
At Van Fit Solutions we take pride in the quality of our workmanship and stand behind every installation carried out by our team.
For this reason, all installations are covered by our 24-Month Workmanship Guarantee.
This guarantee applies to installations carried out by Van Fit Solutions at our Middlesbrough facility.
All installations must be inspected by the customer before leaving our premises as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
1. What Our Guarantee Covers
Our workmanship guarantee covers defects in installation carried out by Van Fit Solutions.
This includes:
• Structural integrity of bespoke storage systems
• Drawer runners and mechanisms installed by us
• Fixings and mounting points used during installation
• Workmanship relating to the build and installation of storage systems
If a genuine workmanship issue arises within the guarantee period, we will inspect the installation and repair the issue where appropriate.
2. Guarantee Period
All installations are covered by a 24-month workmanship guarantee from the date the vehicle leaves our premises.
The guarantee applies only to the installation work carried out by Van Fit Solutions.
3. What the Guarantee Does Not Cover
The workmanship guarantee does not cover damage or issues caused by factors outside of our control.
This includes but is not limited to:
• Misuse of storage systems
• Overloading drawers or shelving
• Improper storage of equipment
• Damage caused by loose tools or equipment
• Vehicle accidents or collisions
• Water damage or environmental exposure
• Modifications or alterations carried out by third parties
• Normal wear and tear through regular use
• Mechanical or electrical faults within the vehicle itself
4. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring tools and equipment are stored safely.
Van Fit Solutions accepts no liability for damage caused by:
• Overloading storage units
• Improper securing of tools or equipment
• Modifications made after installation
5. Guarantee Claims
If you believe there is an issue covered by the workmanship guarantee, you must contact us as soon as possible.
Please provide:
• Your name and booking details
• Vehicle registration
• A description of the issue
• Photographs where possible
Van Fit Solutions may request that the vehicle is returned to our facility for inspection.
6. Repairs Under Guarantee
Where a genuine workmanship issue is identified, Van Fit Solutions will repair or rectify the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
The guarantee covers repair of the original installation only.
It does not include compensation for:
• Loss of earnings
• Business interruption
• Travel expenses
• Vehicle downtime
7. Non-Transferable Guarantee
This workmanship guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer who purchased the installation.
The guarantee becomes void if:
• The vehicle is sold to another owner
• The storage system is transferred to another vehicle
• Ownership of the vehicle changes
Van Fit Solutions accepts no guarantee claims from subsequent vehicle owners or third parties.
8. Guarantee Limitations
This guarantee applies only to installations carried out by Van Fit Solutions.
Van Fit Solutions reserves the right to determine whether a fault falls within the scope of the workmanship guarantee.
9. Relationship to Terms and Conditions
This workmanship guarantee must be read alongside our Terms and Conditions, which outline installation acceptance procedures, customer responsibilities, and liability limitations.
By paying a deposit, booking an installation, or proceeding with work, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted both our Terms and Conditions and this Workmanship Guarantee.
