At Van Fit Solutions, we are the only company in the UK providing fully bespoke, one-of-one storage solutions for vans, pickups, and commercial vehicles.
Every system we produce is:
- Designed, built, and installed entirely in-house at our Middlesbrough facility.
- Never outsourced — only Van Fit Solutions-approved contractors carry out work under our strict supervision.
- Backed by a 12-month guarantee that covers defects in materials or workmanship.
Our guarantee terms are confirmed and agreed when you pay your deposit, ensuring full clarity for both you and us before any work begins.
These processes are in place to protect you as the customer and us as a company.
- What’s Covered
Our guarantee protects you against genuine manufacturing or material defects that affect the performance or safety of your storage system.
✅ Covered Issues
- Material Failures – Defects in the materials used that compromise strength, safety, or performance.
- Manufacturing or Build Defects – Issues caused by errors during design, assembly, or installation by our team or approved contractors.
Example:
A drawer mechanism fails due to a faulty part or incorrect fitting — we repair or replace it at no cost to you.
- What’s Not Covered
Our guarantee does not apply to issues caused after installation, or to problems outside our control.
❌ Not Covered
- General Wear & Tear – Gradual deterioration from normal, everyday use.
- Accidental or Deliberate Damage – Breakages caused by misuse, external impacts, or poor handling.
- Customer Modifications – Changes made by you after installation that affect the system.
- Third-Party Work – Any repairs or modifications carried out by non-approved third parties automatically void the guarantee.
Important:
If anyone other than Van Fit Solutions or our approved contractors works on the system, the guarantee is immediately void.
- Bodywork Protection & Damage Policy
We take the condition of your vehicle extremely seriously. To protect both you and us, we have a strict bodywork documentation process before any work begins.
Step 1 – Pre-Fitment Vehicle Inspection
- Before starting work, we take detailed photographs of your vehicle’s bodywork, both inside and outside.
- These images are timestamped and securely stored.
- This protects you by creating a clear record of your vehicle’s condition before fitment.
Step 2 – Post-Fitment Vehicle Inspection
- Once the work is completed, we repeat the photo process to document the final state of your vehicle.
- These before-and-after photos allow us to quickly identify any changes or potential damage.
If Damage Occurs
In the unlikely event that our team causes damage to your vehicle during fitment, we will accept full responsibility and resolve the issue in one of the following ways:
1. We Repair the Damage Ourselves

- The work will be carried out at our facility or by one of our approved contractors, ensuring quality and speed.
2. You Receive Payment for the Damage at Trade Value

- If you prefer to have the damage repaired elsewhere, we will compensate you at the trade rate, which is the amount we would pay our approved contractors.

- We do not pay retail repair rates.
Important:
- If you want us to handle the repair, we will do so directly using our approved network.
- If you choose to receive payment instead, the agreed amount will always be based on trade value, not retail pricing.
- By paying your deposit, you agree to these terms upfront.

We need to confirm the issue before any corrective action is taken.
- Preferred Method – Photo or Video Evidence
Send clear, detailed images or footage showing the problem. - If the issue cannot be confirmed via photos or video:
You must bring your vehicle to our Middlesbrough facility for a mandatory in-person inspection.
No work will proceed until we have fully verified the problem through visual evidence or inspection.
Step 3 – Management Review
Our management team will:
- Assess the evidence or conduct a direct inspection.
- Confirm if the issue is covered under the guarantee.
- Provide a clear outcome and next steps.
Step 4 – Repair or Replace
If your claim is approved:
- We will repair or replace the faulty components free of charge.
- All work will be done in-house or by our approved contractors only.
- Third-party companies are never involved in guarantee work.
- Refund, Third-Party & Outsourcing Policy
To maintain the highest quality and protect all parties, our policies are non-negotiable:
