24-Month Guarantee – Warranty Claims, Rectification & Customer Responsibilities

Van Fit Solutions stands behind the quality of its workmanship and materials with a 24-month guarantee.

To ensure any reported issues are addressed promptly and to prevent avoidable deterioration, customers are required to cooperate with our warranty inspection and rectification procedures.

  1. Reporting a Fault or Defect

Customers must notify Van Fit Solutions as soon as reasonably practicable after discovering a potential fault or defect.

Upon receiving a report, we will assess the information provided and endeavour to arrange an inspection or rectification appointment at the earliest reasonably available date.

  1. 30-Day Rectification Policy

Customers are expected to cooperate in confirming and attending a suitable appointment within 30 calendar days of initially reporting an issue.

Once an appointment has been mutually agreed and confirmed, the customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is made available on the agreed date.

Where Van Fit Solutions offers reasonable appointment opportunities within this period, customers must not unnecessarily delay or obstruct the inspection or rectification process.

  1. Customer-Caused Delays & Warranty Exclusions

Where a customer declines reasonable appointment dates, repeatedly reschedules, fails to attend or otherwise unreasonably delays the rectification process beyond 30 calendar days, Van Fit Solutions reserves the right to review the extent of its obligations under the voluntary guarantee.

If a delay directly causes or contributes to further damage, deterioration, structural weakening or additional component failure, such additional damage may be excluded from guarantee coverage.

Van Fit Solutions will not accept responsibility under its voluntary guarantee for additional damage demonstrably caused by a customer’s unreasonable failure to facilitate timely inspection or rectification, insofar as permitted by law.

  1. Prevention of Further Damage

Customers have a responsibility to take reasonable precautions to prevent a reported issue from worsening while awaiting inspection or repair.

This includes discontinuing use of affected components where continued operation could reasonably result in further deterioration, damage or a safety risk.

Where a customer knowingly continues to use a defective component, or unreasonably delays necessary rectification, they may be responsible for the reasonable costs of repairing any additional damage directly resulting from those actions, where legally permitted.

  1. Missed Appointments & Failure to Cooperate

Failure to attend an agreed appointment without reasonable notice, repeated cancellations or prolonged failure to make the vehicle available may affect the extent of coverage for any subsequent deterioration under our voluntary guarantee.

Van Fit Solutions reserves the right to assess such circumstances individually, including the original defect, appointment history, cause of delay and evidence of any additional damage.

  1. Delays Outside the Customer’s Control

Customers will not be penalised where an appointment cannot reasonably be arranged within 30 days due to Van Fit Solutions’ availability or other circumstances outside the customer’s reasonable control.

Where a suitable appointment cannot be accommodated within that period, the parties will work together to agree the earliest reasonable alternative.

  1. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing within this policy excludes, restricts or overrides a customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.

Any exclusion under the voluntary 24-month guarantee will be applied only to the extent permitted by law and will not automatically invalidate an otherwise valid claim relating to the original defect.
